Function Information

Song Choice

A band song list is available, which details all the music that the function band would usually draw material from to create a set for your function/event. This list is a guide and we are happy to take specific song requests (as long as these are provided in ample time before the event!).

Booking Information

It is advisable to book the entertainment for your function as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. We do tend to book pub and club gigs up to a year in advance and although we may be able to cancel these types of bookings for you we would need to have a reasonable amount of notice to offer the venue. Please note that we would not be able to cancel other weddings or functions once a deposit has been paid for them.

The Deposit & Contract

If you decide to book your function with us we would normally ask for a small deposit (20% of the total fee) to allow us to take the date off the market for you. At the same time we will provide you with a Contract, which outlines all of the details that we have agreed for the day; including the times that the band will be expected to arrive and perform and the price.

The other side of the contract is to give you reassurance of what would happen if a member of the band suddenly became ill on the day of your function (not that this has ever happened yet!) but in the unlikely event that this does occur it is best to agree your preferred backup plan for the day.

As a guide the band would usually require approximately 3m x 2m to perform in, although we have performed in smaller spaces than this before.

Insurance

The Greg Bish Blueprint have full Public Liability Insurance (up to £10,000,000) and all of our equipment is regularly PAT Tested. Certificates can be provided for your function venue if necessary.

Price List

It is always difficult to give an exact quote for a function without knowing all of the details of the day but generally the main considerations are the time that your guests are arriving and the time that an area will be free for the function band to begin setting up.

In general, we try to offer a complete range of prices to cater for people looking for a small amount of live music to make their function more unique and for those who are looking for a more personal and exclusive package.

Below are some rough guidelines for the function band prices but please bear in mind that any package could be tailored to suit your exact requirements.

Package 1 (£380ish)

This Package is perfect for those who would love to have an aspect of live entertainment at their function but do not wish to pay for the full band.

-A DJ set will begin as your guests arrive.

An acoustic duo, vocals with acoustic guitar and upright bass, will provide music (generally starting with some softer repertoire and building up to some livelier numbers); we will normally expect to provide an hour of live music, which will be followed by a DJ set for the rest of the evening.

We will provide all equipment and bring a full light rig (including smoke and bubble machines if you wish!).

Package 2 (£480ish)

This package includes the full band instead of DJ services.

An ipod playlist will begin when your guests arrive and music will be provided until approximately 12:00 with the band providing two forty-five minute sets of music, at times best suited to you.

We will provide all equipment and bring a full light rig (including smoke and bubble machines if you wish!).

Music between the band sets will be provided by a pre prepared ‘ipod playlist’ (we are happy to take song suggestions and any recommendations about the style of music you wish to be played at this time).

Package 3 (£615ish)

This package includes the full band and has the benefit of longer set times.

An ipod playlist will begin when your guests arrive and music will be provided until approximately 12:00 with the band providing two one hour sets of music, at times best suited to you.

We will provide all equipment and bring a full light rig (including smoke and bubble machines if you wish!).

Music between the band sets will be provided by a pre prepared ‘ipod playlist’ (we are happy to take song suggestions and any recommendations about the style of music you wish to be played at this time).

Package 4 – The Works (£730ish)

This package includes the full band and also includes music to be performed on DJ equipment for a really professional service in-between the band sets. The advantages of this package are outlined below:

The band will arrive approximately two hours before your guests are due to arrive.

A DJ set will begin when your guests arrive (we are happy to take song suggestions and any recommendations about the style of music you wish to be played at this time).

Three separate 45 minute band sets will be provided, at times best suited for you.

Entertainment can run until 1:00am.

A Wireless microphone can be provided for speeches (if you wish!).
